Mostly Pictures – Day by Day

Forward to Summer

It’s still cold here. Not exactly as cold as before, but instead of the dry, sunny cold weather we get now damp, grey cold weather. Can I please get the sun back? Even though I still have some skiing planned to do this winter, I long for summer (or at least spring).
So, while sitting on the couch, watching Topgear on BBC and nursing my twisted ankle (I hope nothing serious, when walking home from the pool I must have taken a bad step on some ice/snow whatever on the road), I worked myself through some flower and insect pictures taken last July in my mother’s garden. I miss all these colours.

Because it is cold outside

That must be a record of humble bee picture posting on this blog!

I miss the warm weather, too. We’ve got the very same weather over here as well. Boring and annoying. Plus, I’m developing a cold. Not good. :(

Definitely not good. Hope you feel better soon! I plan to bring that book I promised to you to the post office tomorrow or on Saturday, so you’ll get that one soon.

  2. Look at all that pollen! And the green growth and warmth and things that are not cold ! It’s chilly here, too.

I hope your ankle feels better, that’s no fun. And I hope you get the sun back, too:)

I hope (and think) I won’t feel my ankle tomorrow any more. Ankles are my weak spot. ;)

Yes, that helps a lot. And also in the evening! I care more about the evenings than the mornings.
