After a Summer Rain

I spent the week skiing in the mountains (pictures of that will follow somewhen), and when I arrived home yesterday, it was warm, sunny and spring like. I saw snowdrops blooming in a garden, and it was warm enough to leave home without a jacket. This made me totally happy, I missed the warmth. Now, I hoped the weather would stay like that, but when I got up this morning, we were back to grey. Not freezing, but autumny grey.
And because I’ve finally managed to edit some more pictures from last summer, I can post here a couple of shots from a late summer afternoon. It was raining during the afternoon, and cleared again. I went on a walk when the sun came out again and managed to catch the strong colours of summer.

Since last summer, I moved cities, and seeing these pictures of places I used to pass often during running makes me sentimental. Ah well, maybe I’ll go there running again just for fun.
