Skiing in Davos
Last week I worked too much, slept too littleand worried too much. Or maybe I was alittle too cold on my run on Saturday, when it started to wind on the way back. So, the last couple of kms were quite chilly. So, Sunday night I started feeling terrible. And, on Monday, I left work in the early afternoon and spent a very lazy afternoon feeling exhausted on the couch watching Firefly. I do feel better today, so I can write about the ski trip I did two weeks ago.
We went to Serneus to ski two days in the ski region of Klosters Davos. On the first day, it was terribly cold and quite dreary. -20°C and on the one moment when we saw the sun, I took this picture. Luckily, there was no wind, the cold would have been unbearable otherwise.
We tried to stay in the trees to have better contrast. And we avoided chairlifts, used cable cars instead, where we could at least be indoor for a little while. The snow was great to ski on though.
After this day of skiing, we had a good homemade fondue (mixing cheese and wine is quite easy, I admit). And on the next day, we were greeted by this:
We had a great day. Blue sky, and not quite as cold as on the day before (still too cold to have lunch outside). Of course, slightly more people on the slopes, but as January is quite off season, we never had to wait anywhere.

I’m not a big fan of snow but your pics always make me want to be right there.
I hope you’ll be fine soon!
